Textured Patterns in Crochet - Raised stitch with dots with trebles

Stitches used:

Double Crochet – insert hook into the stitch in the previous row, yarn over hook, draw loop through, yarn over hook, draw through both loops on hook.

Treble: yarn over hook, insert hook into the stitch in the previous row, yarn over hook, draw loop through, (yarn over hook, draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.

Directions:
Foundation chains = Multiple of 6+ 6=;
6 x 2 +7= 19 chains

Rows 1 – 3: 1 ch, dc into each of the stitches below, 1 ch turn.

Row 4
: 1 dc into each of the 3 dc below; * 6 trebles, drop the last stitch of the 6th treble. Put the hook into the stitch between the last dc and the 1st treble, pick up the dropped loop of the last treble and draw it through the one on the hook skip the dc under the dot, 5 dc into each of the 5 dc below; repeat from * to end.

Rows 5-7: 1 ch, dc into each dc in the row below.

Row 8
: 1 dc into each of the 1st 6 dc in the row below. Repeat row 4.

Variations: You can have variations by rearranging the dots to form diagonal lines or using the cluster stitch or the puff stitch instead of the dot stitch.

Cluster or Puff stitch: Leaving the last loop of each on hook, make 6 trebles into the same stitch; yarn over hook, draw loop through all the loops on hook.
